Japanese SM promo 037/SM-P is Poncho-wearing Pikachu as Alolan Vulpix, from the 1 February 2017 Sun & Moon Alolan Vulpix & Vulpix Poncho-wearing Pikachu Special Box. It stayed Japan-only. The poncho line began in XY and continued into SM; this is one of two SM-era poncho sheets.

The attack line Powder Snow? is the joke: Alolan Vulpix learns Powder Snow, Pikachu does not. The number 037 repeats Vulpix’s Pokédex 37. Finish is holofoil promo.

Completists chase the poncho rainbow across two generations. Desk talk is the costume gag and the box channel, not an English print that never existed.
