Japanese XY Promo 230/XY-P is Poncho-wearing Pikachu in a regular Rayquaza cloak, a Japan-only full-art holo. The Rayquaza Poncho-wearing Pikachu Special Box is dated 6 July 2016, for the Pokémon Center Skytree Town opening in Tokyo; Rayquaza was chosen for the tower's height. No English print followed.

The sister card in the same box is 231/XY-P, the Shiny Rayquaza poncho. The attack Fly? jokes that Pikachu cannot normally learn Fly, while Rayquaza can.

Talk covers the red Cherish Ball brooch and Pikachu mimicking Rayquaza's stance. XY-P background holo strength varies copy to copy; that is ordinary sheet variance in the source notes.
