Poncho-Wearing Pikachu Rayquaza Poncho-Wearing Pikachu Box (Pokemon Japanese XY Promo #231/XY-P) has a PSA 10 market cap of $30.5M on CardZ Marketcap as of Oct 13, 2026: PSA 10 price $13,931 × PSA 10 population 2,189. Ranked #27 by market cap among 1,677 ranked cards across CardZ Marketcap.

Background

Japanese XY Promo 231/XY-P is Poncho-wearing Pikachu in a Shiny Rayquaza cloak, the pair to 230/XY-P in the same Rayquaza Special Box dated 6 July 2016. Kouki Saitou drew the full art. The box marked Pokémon Center Skytree Town in Tokyo. The print is Japanese only.

The attack Outrage? nods at Outrage, a move Rayquaza can learn and Pikachu cannot. Completing the poncho rainbow means hunting both Rayquaza cloaks plus the earlier Mega Charizard sheets.

Desk talk treats the shiny-green cloak as the harder of the two Skytree twins.

METHOD & DATA

How the market cap number is built

Market cap is the current PSA 10 reference price multiplied by the verified PSA 10 population, recalculated on every daily update.

Reference price
The most recent completed PSA 10 sale captured inside CardZ Marketcap tracked coverage. Lots are unitised down to a single card, and a sale priced far outside its own recent range is rejected in favour of the next most recent one.
Population
The verified PSA 10 population for that exact printing — language, set, collector number and parallel are never merged across printings.
Gaps
A card with insufficient data coverage in the window is marked as accumulating rather than being given a filled-in number. A missing value stays missing, never zero.
