Japanese Mega Gengar ex 3/21 sits in the 2025 MEGA Starter Set Mega Gengar ex (MBG). It is the Darkness lead of that 60-card preconstructed deck: fixed content, not a booster chase. 5ban Graphics drew the holo / full-art used in the product.

Japan’s date is 5 September 2025. Traditional Chinese and Korean printings followed; the international Mega Battle Deck landed on 24 October 2025. Shadowy Concealment cuts prizes when a Darkness Pokémon is KO’d by an opposing Pokémon ex, and the text says it does not stack.

An early TCG Live bug let the ability stack; that was patched to the printed rule. The desk keeps it as a starter-set identity, not a pack-hunt secret.
